Kidnappers Kill Another Young Girl Abducted In Abuja After Family Failed To Pay N50M Ransom

The victim was abducted along with her two cousins and other residents including the late Folorunsho Ariyo, her mother and three siblings on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Sagwari Layout Estate, Dutse.


A young girl, who was abducted by gunmen in the Dutse axis of Abuja, has been killed after her family failed to pay ransom of 50M.

The victim was abducted along with her two cousins and other residents including late Folorunsho Ariyo, her mother and three siblings on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Sagwari Layout Estate, Dutse.

The young girl's body was among four corpses of kidnapped victims dumped at Ida, near Ushafa in Bwari Area Council.

According to a family member, Hassana Suleiman, the kidnappers had demanded N50 million ransom to release the deceased and her two cousins.

“Hello everyone, my two nieces (age 6 nd 10)were kidnapped with their Aunty at Sagwari layout Dutse Bwari, Abuja. They’re demanding for 50million and to make the matter worse they have killed their Aunty Yesterday….. Nigerians please come to our Aid we’re helpless,” she wrote.

Salma Eku, the mother of the two children, commented on LIB post, saying the the kidnappers are demanding N50m to release her two daughters, aged 10 and 6 years old.
