A Nigerian man from Kogi state, Dr. Ugbedeojo Nelson Peter has returned the sum of N5,850,000 mistakenly deposited into his UBA bank account.
The money was wrongly paid into the man's account by one Hassan Abdullahi.
Dr. Ugbedeojo is a senior lecturer at Prince Abubakar Audu University in Anyigba, Kogi state.
After he got the alert, he asked for help from his friends in the banking industry.
He wrote: “How do I refund the sum of ₦5.850,000 million mistakenly sent to my account by one Hassan Abdullahi?”
After getting the needed response, Dr. Ugbedeojo wrote to his bank to reverse the transaction.
