How 3 Victims Escaped From Bandits’ Den In Kaduna

City & Crime had reported that bandits on December 6, 2023, invaded Anguwar Tudu in Azzara village, killed a soldier and whisked away 11 villagers alongside a man and his family members in the area.

Three individuals, who were part of the group of 11 people kidnapped from Azzara village in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, have successfully fled from the captivity of their abductors.

City & Crime had reported that bandits on December 6, 2023, invaded Anguwar Tudu in Azzara village, killed a soldier and whisked away 11 villagers alongside a man and his family members in the area.

A resident of Azzara, Danjuma Saleh, who spoke with our reporter over the phone on Tuesday, said the three victims escaped on Monday, night when their abductors dozed off after getting drunk.

“It was even this morning, around 5am, that the village head of Akilbu called to inform the chief of Azzara that three people who escaped from the bandits are with him,”
he said.

He said relations of the victims had already been contacted, even as the victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment on the directive of the village head.

There was no official response from the spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command over the escaped victims as at the time of filing this report.
