Reports that Alamieyeseigha's death might be a secret plot to prevent his extradition to the United Kingdom to face charges on money laundering offenses after jumping bail have continued to solidify following a loophole in his scheduled burial ceremony.

In what has got more people talking, the official announcement of the death of former Bayelsa State governor, DSP Alamieyeseigha left out a crucial ceremony, lying-in-state, as announced by the state government.

This has heated up discussion in some quarters on social media that the late governor may not have died since his body would not be available for public viewing as expected during the lying-in-state.

There are however reports that his lying-in-state will be for just his family members and close associates.
