Senate Minority Leader, Abba Moro’s Aide Regains Freedom After Three Days In Kidnappers' Den

Echeofun was abducted on Tuesday night, December 12, 2023, on his way from the National Assembly to his Gwagwalada residence.

Mr Emmanuel John Echeofun, the media adviser to the Senate Minority Leader, Abba Moro, who was abducted by armed men in Abuja has regained freedom after spending three days in captivity.

Echeofun was abducted on Tuesday night, December 12, 2023, on his way from the National Assembly to his Gwagwalada residence.

A family source said that the kidnappers are demanding N15 million ransom for his release.

"They gave us till 10am today (Wednesday) to provide the money or they will kill him,” the source said.

Echeofun confirmed his release in a Facebook post on Friday, December 15.

"God brought me back safely and in one piece after three days in kidnappers' den. To Him alone be all the glory! I will give the details much later,
” he wrote.
