Following the exit of Senator Simon Mwadkwon from Plateau, Moro, who replaced David Mark in the Senate, assumed the role of minority leader on Tuesday.
David Mark, a former Senate President of Nigeria, has reacted to Senator Abba Moro’s ascent to the position of minority leader in the Senate.
He described Moro's emergence as minority leader as a remarkable achievement.
Following the exit of Senator Simon Mwadkwon from Plateau, Moro, who replaced David Mark in the Senate, assumed the role of minority leader on Tuesday.
Mark made the remarks in a congratulatory message signed by his Special Advisor, Paul Mumeh.
“This is a testament to your exceptional leadership skills, unwavering dedication, and the trust and confidence your colleagues have in you.
“Your elevation to such a crucial position is a testament to the respect and admiration you have earned throughout your distinguished career.
“Your commitment to public service, tireless advocacy for your constituents, and your ability to bridge divides make you an exemplary choice for the role of Minority Leader”.
The former Senate President added “As the Minority Leader, you will undoubtedly face numerous challenges and responsibilities.
Mark described Moro as a worthy successor, saying, ” I have every confidence that you will excel in your new role as the Minority Leader.
The former Senate president implored Abba Moro to keep improving his constituents’ lives to a substantial degree.
