The judges further stated that the tribunal was wrong not to have disqualified the appellant, Governor Yusuf.
The Appeal Court has revealed why it sacked Abba Kabir Yusuf as Governor of Kano State.
The court ruled that Yusuf was not a member of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, as of the time the elections were conducted.
The Court said the Governor was not qualified to contest for the seat.
The judges further stated that the tribunal was wrong not to have disqualified the appellant, Governor Yusuf.
