TASUED Releases Newly Approved Tuition Fee

Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) has released its newly approved tuition fee for students.
 
According to the institution, the newly approved fees are payable by students in different departments.
 
recall that students of the university had recently taken to the streets to protest the sharp increase in tuition by the management.
 
Recall the fees, which used to be around N70,000 was jacked up to N180,000 for returning students and N240,000 for new intakes.
 
However, the University Senate, at its 142nd regular meeting, reduced the new fees, perhaps to consider the agitation of the protesting students.
 
The Registrar, Dapo Oke, confirmed to our correspondent that returning students studying education courses are to pay N148,500, while their counterparts listed as pure courses will pay a sum of N158,500 as tuition.
 
Similarly, new students in education are billed N170,500 and their other colleagues are to pay N180,500.
 
Meanwhile, the senate of the university had approved the commencement of the 2023/2024 Academic Session on Monday, November 13, 2023.
 
Parents, guardians, students and the public were asked to take note of the approved academic calendar and school fees for the new academic session.
