According to him, there is little distinction between Cyberbullies and the alleged culprits in the attack on the young artist.
Nigerian businessman and socialite, Olakunle Churchill has slammed cyber bullies.
He said cyberbullies are not different from killers of singer, Mohbad.
The unfortunate passing of the talented artiste Mohbad has led to a concerning trend of online scrutiny and criticism directed at celebrities. These famous individuals find themselves under close examination, with some even being told how they should express their grief over Mohbad’s death.
Pretty Mike of Lagos had previously spoken out against the insensitive behavior displayed by some internet users following Mohbad’s passing. Adding his voice to Pretty Mike‘s sentiments, Churchill wrote:
“@prettymikeoflagos is one of the smartest people i know in the industry. He literally took words out of my mouth with this post.
As we demand justice for Mohbad, let us refrain from becoming cyberbullies ourselves.
There is little distinction between Cyberbullies and the alleged culprits in the attack on the young artist.
Blackmailers and bullies are arguably worse than witches and wizards. It is disheartening that they would exploit people’s tragedies and pretend to show support in public.
Let us cease tearing people down while hiding behind our keyboards.

In the days following Mohbad’s unfortunate death, famous individuals have faced harsh criticisms and are being told how they should express their sadness.
Churchill believes that this online behavior is a form of cyberbullying, and it’s important to realize that those who engage in online harassment aren’t far removed from the people responsible for Mohbad’s tragic end.
The controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death took a new turn yesterday when Naira Marley released an official statement addressing the accusations against him. In the statement, he strongly denied any involvement in a physical fight with Mohbad or any form of bullying or harassment. He also denied rumors that his record label, Marlian Music, had connections to a drug cartel or secret group.
