According to the cleric, Nigerians who have continued to grieve over the death of the deceased, want nothing but justice.
Pastor Adewale Giwa, the Senior Pastor of Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, at the weekend, appealed to President Bola Tinubu to ensure that the late afrobeat musician, Promise Oladimeji Aloba (a.k.a. Mohbad-Imole) who died a few days ago, gets justice, Daily Post reports.
Giwa emphasised that delivering justice in the case would not only honour Mohbad’s memory but also restore hope in the hearts of Nigerians who seek fairness and accountability within the country’s justice system.
According to the cleric, Nigerians who have continued to grieve over the death of the deceased, want nothing but justice.
The pastor stressed that despite being a talented musician, Mohbad suffered during his life, and that even in death his suffering persists.
“One thing that President Tinubu can do to make Nigerians happy is to bring those who killed the young man (Mohbad) to justice. He suffered while he was alive and still suffered after his death.
“Everybody knows that an autopsy is a surgical procedure that consists of a thorough examination of a corpse.
“They’ll have to remove all the organs of his body before they can examine whatever they have to examine. So, he suffered while he was alive and still suffered after death.
“I want to appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because the government controls the police. I want to appeal to him to do justice in this case and bring those who killed the young man to justice.”
