It was reported earlier that the 330 kilovolt (kV) facility was gutted by fire on Friday, not long after the nation’s national electricity grid collapsed.
Photos from the aftermath of the fire outbreak at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) transmission substation in Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State, which occurred in the early hours of Friday have surfaced online.
TORI reported earlier that the 330 kilovolt (kV) facility was gutted by fire on Friday, not long after the nation’s national electricity grid collapsed.
While confirming the inferno earlier, the spokesperson for the Kebbi State Police Command, Nafiu Abubakar, told Channels Television he was yet to receive a detailed report about the incident till the time of filing this report.
