His statement followed the judgment by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) on Wednesday in Abuja.

Sam Amadi, a public affairs analyst, has condemned the manner in which the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, PEPT, was delivered, describing it as horrible.

Amadi frowned that the copy of the judgement is yet to be made available to the public.

His statement followed the judgment by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) on Wednesday in Abuja.

The five-man panel in their judgment, set aside the petitions of the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abubakar Atiku and that of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

However, Amadi, who is also the Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, is of the view that the court judgement should’ve been delivered in corrected and final form instead.

In a post on his social media platform on Friday, Amadi claimed that while the court had passed judgement, it might still take days to type it before making the copy available, fearing that the final copy may be vastly different.

He wrote, “Justice delivery in Nigeria is horrible. PEPT judgement should’ve been delivered in corrected and final form. Minutes after delivery you will find it uploaded on website and authenticated.

“Now you wait for days to type it. Final copy may be vastly different. No quality control.”
