First Lady, Remi Tinubu Hosts Power Minister, Adelabu In Aso Rock (Photos)

During the visit, Mrs Tinubu congratulated Adelabu on his appointment as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and asked him to do his best for the country.

Nigeria's First Lady, Remi Tinubu hosted the Minister of Power, Hon Adebayo Adelabu, on Thursday, at the State House in Abuja.

Adelabu was among the 45 ministers inaugurated by President Bola Tinubu on Monday at the Presidential Villa.

Recall that President Tinubu sent the list of 48 ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation, but only 45 were cleared, while three were stepped down due to security clearance issues.

On August 16, the President assigned portfolios to the ministerial nominees, and over the weekend, the successful ministers-designate completed their documentation at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

During the visit, Mrs Tinubu congratulated Adelabu on his appointment as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and asked him to do his best for the country.

Also at the meeting was Akeem Adeyemi, a Member House of Representatives from Oyo State.
