Fiona Frimpong, the presenter of the Afrobeats Unfiltered show, has talked about Asake.
She expressed her unhappiness with fans who arrived late to the Asake concert at the O2 arena on Sunday.
She said this on Wednesday in an episode of the 'Afrobeats Unfiltered show' shared via her X (formerly Twitter) handle saying, "I have heard that apparently the rules for the O2 arena are, they cannot let an artist go on stage or start a show until 80% of ticket holders are actually inside"
Speaking to fans who were loitering outside the venue, she said: "Now we talk about the fans, the people that paid money to go and see the concert. Why are you not inside?
"They told you that the man was coming in at 8:30 you are gagging and coming in late knowing that the show is probably going to finish at 11:00. People are not in the venue until about 10:30, that is insane, that is a good two hours it took people to come in but when Wizkid is performing, when Burna Boy is performing, when Davido is performing, everybody is there promptly.
"It is like same level of respect is not really shown for Asake, this is his big moment you know especially if he is coming to redeeem himself after what happened at Brixton."
