Arteta said Zinchenko is very close to returning to full fitness, but Arsenal will be without Jesus in the short term.
Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager, has given the latest injury update on Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus ahead of his side’s Premier League tie with Crystal Palace on Monday night.
Arteta said Zinchenko is very close to returning to full fitness, but Arsenal will be without Jesus in the short term.
Zinchenko and Jesus missed Arsenal’s opening Premier League win against Nottingham Forest last weekend due to injuries.
“He [Zinchenko] has been training with us, and hopefully we are going to have him available very, very soon,” Arteta told reporters on Thursday.
“Gabby [Jesus] is still not available and not fit, but the rest are all good,” he said.
The kick-off time for the Crystal Palace vs Arsenal clash is 8 pm.
