Five Abducted Zamfara Varsity Students Regain Freedom

Sa’ ad revealed that the Nigerian military rescued the kidnapped victims and handed them over to the management of the institution over the weekend.

 

Five students of the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State who were abducted by terrorists about two months ago have been rescued.

The Dean of Students Affairs of the University, Dr Lawal Sa’ad, confirmed the development to NTA News on Sunday.

Sa’ ad revealed that the Nigerian military rescued the kidnapped victims and handed them over to the management of the institution over the weekend.

He said the released students who underwent some medical treatments have since been reunited with their respective families.
