Police Arrest Suspected 'Yahoo Boy' Nabbed With Human Parts And Fetish Items In Ondo

The suspect was apprehended after the children in the compound where he resides noticed the black polyethene bag containing the human part and alerted the landlord of the compound who alerted the police from Funmbi Fagun police station.

 

A 26-year-old suspected internet fraudster, Franklin Akinyosuyi, has been arrested by the Anti-crime unit of the Ondo State Police Command.

He was caught with a human skull and fetish items in Ondo town, the headquarters of Ondo West Local Government Area of the state.

The suspect was apprehended after the children in the compound where he resides noticed the black polyethene bag containing the human part and alerted the landlord of the compound who alerted the police from Funmbi Fagun police station.

The suspect was immediately arrested and a search carried out in his room led to the discovery of several human parts, blood, fetish items, and charms.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the state police command, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said the suspect who claims he runs a boutique had been placed under interrogation in its custody.

“His landlord challenged him for keeping a bag in a corner of the compound, and the landlord became suspicious and asked the young man to open the bag. When he did, a human skull was found in the bag. After he was arrested, he claimed it was given to him by a native doctor in Osun state to enhance his business but the investigation is ongoing and the suspect is in custody,” the PPRO said.
