The protesters began at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo, are currently marching through Oke Fia, Alekuwodo, Olaitan flyover (Olaiya Junction) and major streets of the Osun State capital.

 
Labour unions in Osun state have commenced their protest against hardship in the country due to fuel subsidy removal.
 
The National Union of Electricity Employees, Academic Staff Union of Universities (UNIOSUN Branch), Osun Civil Societies Coalition, Joint Action Front and other labour unions in Osun commenced a mass protest over the fuel price hike on Wednesday.
