It's Not A Crime To Tint Your Hair, It Only Looks Strange To Our Culture - Police Spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, Says After Man Claimed He Was Slapped For It

He also told the barber that he can decide to file a complaint against the officer who slapped him for tinting his hair.

CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, has stated that one cannot be arrested for tinting their hair because it is not a crime.

He said this while responding to a Twitter user who disclosed that he was slapped by a policeman over his tinted hair.

Adejobi said though it is not a crime to tint one's hair, however, it looks ‘’strange to our culture'' as Africans.

He also told the barber that he can decide to file a complaint against the officer who slapped him for tinting his hair.
