Recall that Fayose had said Wike was an articulate capacity person, stressing that Nigeria needs an average mad person to become a minister.

Phrank Shaibu has agreed with former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose that ex-governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, is “an average mad man.”

Shaibu is the Special Assistant on Public Communication to the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Recall that Fayose had said Wike was an articulate capacity person, stressing that Nigeria needs an average mad person to become a minister.

Speaking over the weekend, the former governor had urged President Bola Tinubu to include Wike in his cabinet.

He also noted that Tinubu should appreciate the G-5 integrity group for their support during the last presidential election.

Faulting Fayose’s comment, Shaibu cautioned Tinubu against appointing Wike as a minister.

In a statement he signed, Shaibu said it would amount to a lunatic running an asylum by appointing Wike minister.

According to Shaibu: “We want to appreciate Fayose for describing Wike as an ‘average mad man.’

“Indeed, it is only a mad person who can use violence to prevent people from coming into a state to campaign. It takes madness to subvert the will of the people.”
