The former minister asserted that he was warmly welcomed by the new lawmakers to the parliament, and congratulated them on their assumption of their respective offices.
The former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, SAN, paid a courtesy visit to two Delta State Senators elected on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform.
In a tweet via his verified Twitter account on Thursday, Keyamo said he visited Senator Ede Dafinone representing Delta Central Senatorial District, and Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas representing Delta South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
The former minister asserted that he was warmly welcomed by the new lawmakers to the parliament, and congratulated them on their assumption of their respective offices.
He wrote: “Earlier today, I was warmly welcomed to one of the offices of the Red Chambers of the National Assembly by the two distinguished APC Senators from Delta State, namely Distinguished Senator Ede Dafinone (representing Delta Central) and Distinguished Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas (representing Delta South). I heartily congratulated them on their assumption of their respective offices.”
