Exchange Rate Sells For As High As N815/$1 at I&E Window

An exchange rate of N815 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N763.17.

 

The Naira has depreciated further against the naira.

The naira, on Wednesday depreciated against the US dollar at the investor’s and exporters’ window, exchanging at N763.17.

According to NAN, the Naira depreciated by 0.87 per cent compared with N756.61, which it exchanged for the dollar on Tuesday.

The open indicative rate closed at N741.21 to the dollar on Wednesday.

An exchange rate of N815 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N763.17.

The Naira sold for as low as 476 to the dollar within the day’s trading.

On Wednesday, $96.44 million was traded at the official investors and exporters window.
