The command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Abubakar, said the suspect stole the cattle at Funakaye Local Government Area of the state.
A 30-year-old indigene of Bandila village in Gulani Local Government Area of Yobe State has been arrested by the Gombe police command for rustling cattle valued at N7 million.
The command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Abubakar, said the suspect, Sale Kabo stole the cattle at Funakaye Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect was arrested after the case was reported by Jauro Ahmadu, a 75-year-old of Shuwari village in Bajoga in Funakaye LGA to the Bajoga Divisional Police headquarters.
Abubakar said;
“After conducting a thorough investigation, Sale Kabo was arrested in connection with the theft which he confessed. All the stolen cows and other relevant exhibits were recovered.
“The suspect is currently in police custody and will be charged in court as soon as the investigation is concluded.”
