A Nigerian doctor, Ada Ujaligwa, has stated that churches want women to look desperate by their actions.

She questioned why altar calls in churches are mostly made for women seeking husbands and the fruit of the womb.  

According to her, during these alter calls, men just sit back and look while pressure is being put on women.
