President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the Project Cordinator of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project, Ferdinand Giadom.
In his place, he appointed Professor Nanibarini Zabbey as the new HYPREP PC, to replace Giadom.

The statement described Professor Zabbey as a renowned Ogoni expert on hydrobiology who has extensive experience and background in remediation related activities with bias in bio-monitoring and restoration ecology.
Zabbey, until his appointment, was a Senior Lecturer at Department of Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Port Harcourt.
