INEC Tells Tribunal It Wasn't Aware Tinubu Forfeited $460,000 to US Govt

Recall that Obi had claimed that Tinubu forfeited $460,000 to the US government which was proceeds of drug trafficking.

 
Nigeria's electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission has in its reply to a petition filed by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party against the announcement of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress as winner of the 2023 presidential election, said that it wasn't aware that Tinubu forfeited money to the US government.
 
Recall that Obi had claimed that Tinubu forfeited $460,000 to the US government which was proceeds of drug trafficking.
 
Reacting to Obi's petition via the certified true copy submitted to court, INEC argued that it was not aware of the alleged forfeiture in "narcotics trafficking".
