Delta Police Seek Help To Identify Family Of Man Who Died In An Accident

The deceased accident victim whose name and address are unknown was involved in an accident along Benin/Asaba expressway by Summit Junction.

The Delta State Police Command is seeking help from the general public in locating the family of an unidentified man who perished in a tragic accident.

A statement from the command's spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, says the deceased accident victim whose name and address are unknown, was involved in an accident along Benin/Asaba expressway by Summit junction Asaba, involving one Mack Truck with Reg. No. RBC 92 ZS, the truck knocked down the deceased while crossing the road, and the corpse has been deposited at Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary Asaba.

Edafe asked that any person(s) who knows the victim, his parents, friends or other relatives should report at State Traffic office at ‘B’ division Asaba, Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary Asaba or the Police Public Relations office, Police Headquarters Asaba for possible identification and collection of corpse.

He mentioned that the numbers to call for any information are 0915 557 0008, 0915 557 0007, command control room via 0803 668 4974.
