Adaigwe had paid Ray Emodi the amount to play a role in a movie, which he initially accepted but later rejected after payment, and refused to refund the money.
Nollywood actor, Ray Emodi has tearfully explained his side of the story after being accused of pocketing N700,000 paid for him to act in a movie without doing the job.
He was called out by colleague Rossy Adaigwe who alleged that after taking the money, he didn't act in the movie and neither did he return the money.
Reacting, Emodi complained that he was underpaid.
He usually charges N10 million for his services but decided to accept N700k for 40 scenes as a gesture of goodwill.
However, the director later increased the number of scenes to 60, which was different from the initial agreement of 40 scenes, leading to a misunderstanding between them.
