Nigerian politician, Omoyele Sowore has accused Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika of lying after he revealed that N12billion was spent on acquiring 10 fire fighting trucks for use at airports.

Reacting, Yele Sowore, a human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), wrote: "Wow! you mean you bought a single fire engine for over $2 million each. Wonders shall never cease. You and @mbuhari really finished Nigeria!"
He added:
"Pure thieves! Buhari’s aviation minister @hadisirika claimed he purchased airport fire engines for $2.1million apiece #RevolutionNow."
