Two Women And Minor Arraigned For Assaulting Principal

The defendants and the minor assaulted and tore the clothes of the Principal of A.U.D School, Ota after she prevented them from passing through the school’s premises.

An Ota magistrates’ court in Ogun State has arraigned two women and a minor for allegedly assaulting a school principal.

The defendants, Aminat Ogundare (52), Chioma Udeh (35) and the minor at about 4pm on February 21, assaulted and tore the clothes of the Principal of A.U.D School, Ota, Mrs Fatima Orenuga, after she prevented them from passing through the school’s premises.

The prosecutor, Insp E. O. Adaraloye said the offences contravened the provisions of Sections 356, 451and 516 of the Criminal Code of Ogun State 2006.

The Magistrate, Mrs A. O. Adeyemi who presided over the case, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N1m each with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case to March 28.
