Liverpool beat the visiting team 7-0 on Sunday evening.
Bruno Fernandes has revealed why Manchester United lost 7-0 to rivals, Liverpool.
Recall that Manchester United suffered the humiliating defeat yesterday at Anfield in their English Premier League game against the club.
Liverpool beat the visiting team 7-0 on Sunday evening. The Red Devils’ defence line could not save Erik Ten Hag from a historic embarrassment as Jurgen Klopp’s side went wild in the second half of the encounter.
A brace each from Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah, and a goal from Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool a winning, pushing the Reds to 5th position in the league table while holding on to 42 points with a match in hand.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Fernandes admitted that the match was “Very frustrating, disappointing, sad because it’s a really bad result. We came here with a different mindset before the game.”
The Portuguese star though insisted that Manchester United was ‘really good’ in the first half against Liverpool, he said: “We had a lot of chances. We controlled most of the first half, I think, they did not create that much.”
“[In the second half] we tried to go forward and score goals and we lost a bit of balance. We gave too much space away against this kind of team. We have to avoid that,” Fernandes admitted.
