INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Lagos, Olusegun Agbaje had said working with the committee led by Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, would not compromise the forthcoming elections.

Agbaje stated this on Tuesday during the Inter-agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES) meeting at the commission’s office in Lagos.

The INEC official asserted that the commission was only concerned about meeting up with the high volume of logistics needs for the elections, adding that the movement of the sensitive materials would be monitored by security agencies, party agents, and observers.

Nigerians took to social media to express displeasure, saying INEC's decision to use MC Oluomo's boys might compromise sensitive electoral materials.
