Nigeria's president Muhammadu Buhari took to Twitter to hail the move by Elon Musk.
President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed happiness after Elon Musk's Starlink launched its services in Nigeria.
Buhari in a Twitter post, said the move should be applauded.
He wrote:
"We are delighted that Starlink services have been deployed in Nigeria, making us the first African country — and the only one so far — to enjoy this rollout. With this deployment of Starlink, we now have 100 percent broadband penetration in Nigeria."
