Popular Nigerian Rapper Battling Life-Threatening Sickness Gives Update (Video)

Ikechukwu said he is suffering from a herniated disc and acute sciatica, which has paralyzed his whole right side, left him bedridden for a long time, and made him use crutches.

Nigerian rapper, Ikechukwu Onunaku has said he's getting better following a health challenge.
 
According to him, he has been bedridden for months.
 
Ikechukwu narrated his ordeal during an Instagram Live session with media personality, Daddy Freeze.
 
Ikechukwu said he is suffering from a herniated disc and acute sciatica, which has paralyzed his whole right side, left him bedridden for a long time, and made him use crutches.
 
When asked if he was still in Nigeria, Ikechukwu disclosed he was not satisfied with his treatment and decided to leave the country for better health care outside Nigeria.
 
Taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, Ikechukwu shared a video of himself attempting to get back on his feet without the aid of crutches.
 
Despite his inability to stand and gain his balance, the actor declared positive words to himself, adding that he hopes to get back on his feet in February.
 
He wrote: “Slowly but surely.

“I will get back walking

“I will touch my toes without bending my knees.

“I will feel no sharp stabs in my back or legs.

“I will do back flip in February.

“All the things I took for granted by letting my regular practices fall off. Never again as God is my witness and healer. Idey come. P.s I will also gain the weight back”
