The clergyman, while speaking during a Christian concert in Asaba, Delta State, assured Nigerians that God has chosen those who will lead the country.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has assured Nigerians that God will choose credible leaders for them in 2023.
President of CAN, Most Rev. Daniel Okoh gave the assurance, saying that the 2023 general elections will not break up Nigeria.
The clergyman spoke during a Christian concert in Asaba, Delta State.
He said that God would not allow the country to disintegrate.
Speaking further, Okoh begged Nigerians to support leaders that would turn country’s fortunes around, adding that God would not abandon the country to its fate.
According to Okoh: “The coming election will not break Nigeria. As a matter of fact, 2023 is the year of golden opportunity for Nigeria.
“God has already chosen those who will lead the people come 2023 and since God is interested in the government and the economy of men, then the people should be involved because God will use people to turn things around for the country.”
The CAN President also allayed fear among Nigerians, stressing that God was interested in the government of the country.
