Teenage Boy Drowns In Kaduna River

The young boy and other children came from Ungwan Yelwa, Television area of Kaduna, to swim in the river before tragedy struck.

 A secondary school student has reportedly drowned while swimming in a river in Gbagyi Villa suburb of Kaduna metropolis.

An evangelist, Tim Shi, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Monday, December 12, said the young boy and other children came from Ungwan Yelwa, Television area of Kaduna, to swim in the river before tragedy struck.

"A just concluded secondary school boy just got drown in a small river here at gwagyi villa bridge and is confirmed to have seized breathing. The kids are reported to have come from ungwan Yelwa, Television Kaduna, to take their bath in the small river. Parents take hold of your kids. Know the whereabouts of your children. This is sad." he wrote.
