The trio were in the state to condole with Ohanaeze Ndigbo over the death of a former minister, Mbazulike Amaechi, who died in November.

 
A former president, Olusegun Obasanjo alongside the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and the leader of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo have visited the headquarters of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Enugu State.
 
The meeting took place on Sunday, according to DailyPost.
 
The trio were in the state to condole with Ohanaeze Ndigbo over the death of a former minister, Mbazulike Amaechi, who died in November.
 
The former Anambra Governor, who posted photos of the event on his verified Twitter handle, said they were received by “Chief Ogene Okeke”.
 
He wrote, “I joined President Obasanjo and Pa Ayo Adebanjo at the Ohanaeze Headquarters in Enugu to sign the condolence register for late Chief Mbazulike Amaechi. The team was received by Chief Ogene Okeke. – PO.”
 
Recall that Amaechi had, prior to his death, led a delegation of prominent Igbo leaders to President Muhammadu Buhari to request the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
