BREAKING: Fire Outbreak In Conoil Filling Station In Abuja

According to our reporter, who visited the scene, the incident started around 3:53 pm on Saturday.

 

A fire outbreak has been recorded in the Conoil filling station located in Area 10, Abuja, according to Daily Post.

According to our reporter, who visited the scene, the incident started around 3:53 pm on Saturday.

An eyewitness, Ette Samson, a graphic designer at the UTC Area 10 market, advised residents to stay away from that axis.

He says, “The fire started from the storage of the filling station, the whole facility has been burnt down. In fact we are stranded at the moment as the area has been sealed off”.

Officials of the Federal Fire Service were seen trying to put out the fire.

The station shares the same fence with Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, and is a stone’s throw away from Cyprian Ekwensi Center for Arts and Culture.

Following the incident, there is heavy traffic in Area 10 and its environs.

As of the time of filling this report, the filling station was still on fire.
