A 65-year-old fake soldier identified as Jeremiah Joseph has been arrested by police officers in Lagos state.
This was disclosed on Twitter by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin.
He said Jeremiah was apprehended after posing as an Army Lieutenant.
''Officers of Ipaja Division have arrested 65-year old Jeremiah Joseph who presented himself as an Army Lieutenant to one Ignatius. The fake Lieutenant promised to arrange soldiers to help Ignatius recover N4.5m owed him by some people in Delta State.
He received N120,000 for this service and thereafter absconded. Found in his apartment were a fake Army identity card and uniform.'' he tweeted
