Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has urged Nigerians not to give up on the ruling party ahead of the 2023 polls.
Tinubu said although Nigerians are against a failed government, they should not give up on the APC.
He spoke at the funeral service of Grace Akeredolu, the mother of the Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, in the Owo area of the State.
He admitted that there might be weaknesses and inadequacies in government, but Nigerians should not give up on the party.
“Thank God we are alive, there might be weaknesses and inadequacies in expectation. No one wants failure.
“You cannot give up on us. We will do better. We will contribute to the improvement you might want,” Tinubu said.
President Muhammadu Buhari was represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Also present at the event were Governors of Ogun, Prince Dapo Abiodun; Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Osun, Gboyega Oyetola and Oyo, Engr Seyi Makinde, represented by his wife, Olufunke.
