Wizkid Reportedly Moves His Album Release Date Over The Death Of Davido's Son

The new date for the album release is now November 14 as against the initial date which was supposed to be tomorrow, November 4, 2022, as seen on the pre-saved Apple music version.

 

Ayo Balogun, the Award-winning Nigerian singer, popularly known as Wizkid, has postponed his album release.

The singer has fixed a new date for the release of his highly anticipated studio album, ‘More Love Less Ego’.

The new date for the album release is now November 14 as against the initial date which was supposed to be tomorrow, November 4, 2022, as seen on the pre-saved Apple music version.

The singer did not give any reason for the change nor did he officially announce it. Fans have however speculated that the move was to commiserate with fellow superstar, Davido, over the death of his son, Ifeanyi.

Wizkid, who had only posted several heartbroken images on his Instastory since the news broke of Ifeanyi’s death, also deleted tweets promoting his project.

Popular singer, Iyanya also postponed his London show to grieve with Davido over his son’s death.
