The thief was arrested and dangerous items were recovered from him, including a locally fabricated toy guy.
A suspected traffic robber has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command at Otedola bridge in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on his Twitter page disclosed that the thief was arrested and dangerous items were recovered from him, including a locally fabricated toy guy.
Hundeyin added that investigations were already ongoing.
His tweet read, “Officers of the Alausa Police Division at 2am today arrested a traffic robber who had in his possession a locally fabricated toy gun and other dangerous items, on Otedola bridge, shortly after robbing a motorist of his valuables.
“Investigation is ongoing.”
In the picture of the thief posted by Hundeyin, hand gloves, screwdrivers and a lighter could be seen as the suspect knelt down in the Lagos police custody.
