Recall that the gunmen attacked the hospital early on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, killing two persons and abducting others.
A man, Haruna Islam Evuti has taken to social media to mourn the demise of his uncle who was murdered by bandits that invaded Abdulsalam Abubakar General Hospital, Gulu in Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State.
The gunmen attacked the hospital in the early hours of Tuesday, October 18, 2022, killing Mohammed Isyaku Evuti, a retired medical personnel and one other.
The bandits also abducted many people including the hospital doctor, nurses, patients and their relatives.
According to Haruna, the deceased has been laid to rest.
"R.I.P Uncle Mohammed Isyaku Evuti, Simple identified (Ya-tachi) a retired medical personnel, he was slaughtered as Bandits attacked Gulu general hospital today" he wrote.
