Police Officers Who Robbed Man Of $5000 And N1.3M To Be Dismissed From Service

The policemen who robbed a man and his brother of $5000 as well as N1.3 million from them are set to be dismissed and prosecuted by the  police force.

Rapper Ruggedman had in August raised the alarm over the extortion of the men.

He posted photos of the erring officers and wrote;

''@Princemoye1 sir, officers from Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB) Abuja robbed a man & his brother in Lagos. They took $5000 + N1.3million. The victim is claiming the Lagos police do not want to give him back his money. I trust @BenHundeyin to do the needful jor. #BadDecisions #NP'' he said

In an update given on his handle this morning, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the recommendation for the dismissal of the officers has been approved and they will be prosecuted accordingly.
