The group said members of the Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG) were responsible for the killing.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has made a damning acccusation against the Anambra Vigilanted Group.
According to IPOB, it allegedly discovered over 10 dead bodies in a forest in Anambra State.
The publicity secretary of the group, Mr Emma Powerful said the bodies were those of its members and were discovered in a forest in Nnobi, Idemili North Local Government Area.
The group said members of the Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG) were responsible for the killing.
Powerful in a press release called on the Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo to caution the operatives of AVG, saying they will bring bad image to his government if he failed.
“We are calling on you people to caution your militias and the gang you created to demonise and destroy IPOB-ESN. Soludo may not know what these criminals are doing in the streets but we are advising him to reorganise them, otherwise, they will bring doom to him and his government.
“On 22nd September 2022 more than 10 dead bodies of innocent IPOB members were discovered at Nnobi forest in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State where they were dumped after extrajudicial execution.
“The slain IPOB members were abducted in other communities in Anambra State and executed at Nnobi forest. To deceive the gullible minds, they made it seem as if those that they killed were criminals murdered in cold blood.
“We want the public to know that for some weeks now many IPOB family members in Anambra State have been missing since Soludo created this criminal militia working with Fulani controlled Military and Police to eliminate IPOB members.”
The group claimed that Governor Soludo was not aware of the real identities and intentions of the people he armed as security personnel, insisting that most of them had ulterior motives.
