The President consoled the Senator representing Kano South District and his family following the tragic incident which reports said happened in suspicious circumstances.

President Muhammadu Buhari has charged security operatives to investigate the death of Sadiq, the son of Senator Kabiru Gaya, and arrest the culprits.
The President, in a statement issued by his media aide, Garba Shehu, consoled Senator representing Kano South District and his family following the tragic incident which reports said happened in suspicious circumstances.
President Buhari also mourned the demise of Alhaji Bala Muhammad Tajudeen, a prominent Kano community leader, whose son, Usman Bala is the Head of Service and Acting Chief of Staff, Government House, Kano.
The President, who commiserated with the family of the deceased, described him as a very disciplined and industrious gentleman who inculcated the values of hard work and patriotism in the children he left behind.
He prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased.
Similarly, President Buhari has sent condolences to Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, over the passing of her mother, Hajiya Zainab Sidi Ali.
