Reacting to the video, Reno shared a photo he claimed was from Port Harcourt Port which was later found to be fake.
Controversial politician, Reno Omokri has been called out by Twitter users who fact-checked a photo of Port Harcourt Port he shared on his page to mock Peter Obi.
Reno was reacting to a viral video in which Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party had exposed a social media user who had urged Yorubas not to vote for him because he plans to develop Port Harcourt port.
Obi who read the message sent to him by a Tinubu Support group condemned such ethnic politics.
Reacting to the video, Reno shared a photo he claimed was from Port Harcourt Port which was later found to be fake.
The photo was actually from the Gioia Tauro Port in Italy.
Reno wrote:
This is a ship offloading goods from Port Harcourt Port. The name of the town is Port Harcourt for goodness sakes! It means there is a port there. How can Tinubu’s people ask Yoruba not to vote
@PeterObi
because he will build a port where a port already exists? Lie!
Debunking the photo, a Twitter user, @lee_zamba wrote:
Busted !!!! That’s not port harcourt, that’s port Gioia Tauro. It is a large seaport in southern Italy. It is the largest port in Italy for container throughput. 👇
