NDLEA Arrest Two Suspects With Pump Action Guns, Cartridges In Kogi

The Commander commended his team for the quick arrest of the suspects, adding that the command will continue to step up its game in bringing down criminals to justice.

 

Two criminal suspects with 12 pump action rifles and 374 cartriges have been arrested along Okene/Abuja highway by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kogi State Command.

The Commander NDLEA Kogi State, Abdullahi Fakai, stated this while briefing journalists in Lokoja.

The Commander commended his team for the quick arrest of the suspects, adding that the command will continue to step up its game in bringing down criminals to justice.

“Sagir Isiyaka, 40 years and Bello Shehu Usman 42 years were arrested conveying the rifles from Onitsha to Abuja. The case has been transferred to the Nigeria Police, Kogi State Command for their discrete and further investigation,” he said.

Fakai, however, called on community leaders to educate their people on the dangers of drug abuse and not leave the responsibilities to the NDLEA and Government alone.

“When you see something say something , it will enable us carry out successful operations and Stop those Criminals, Drug pushers in our society,” he explained.
