Suspected Drug Dealers Arrested In Delta

Two suspected drug dealers identified as Mrs Ogala Juliet ‘f’ 42yrs and Ifeadi Macaulay ‘m’ 26yrs have been arrested by operatives attached to Special Anti-Cult Unit (SACU) in Delta state.

The arrest was made after the police officers on September 1, 2022, raided a black spot at Owa-Oyibo in Ika North East LGA of the state.

Exhibits recovered from the suspects include two bags of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, 20 cans of liquid substances suspected to be “monkey tail”. Investigation is ongoing.

Meanwhile, in the Command's resolve to fight the menace caused by Indian hemp/ controlled drugs dealers, the Commissioner of Police has ordered that continuous raids be carried out by DPOs in their area of responsibility.

The CP also admonished the youths to stay away from these substances capable of destroying their lives.
