One Killed As Gunmen Attack Delta Community After Faction Clash

It was learnt that the factional vice president of the community was driving in a car with the deceased when they were shot by unknown persons.

There is palpable tension in Igbide Community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State as one person was reportedly killed following a clash between rival community factions.

A factional vice president of the community has also reportedly sustained gunshot injuries in his hands as factions clash.

At the time of this report, troops of the 181 Amphibious Battalion in Oleh Community in conjunction with the Police are on the ground to restore peace to the troubled community.

It was learnt that the factional vice president of the community was driving in a car with the deceased when they were shot by unknown persons on Monday morning.

At the time of filing this report, the situation has been brought under control by the Army and Police.
